X-Labs is a "Super Tech" Non-Profit dedicated to community service in the "Best Practices" of Intelligence-Based Technologies for schools, municipalities, organizations and industry. Our Mission is to assist in the information, know-how and implementation of these new technologies. Quickly and Securely. We also do substantial R&D, testing, evaluation and consulting.

X-Labs seeks to leverage learning, development, experience, innovation and implementation thru "Learning by doing." The best example of this is Houston Community College's "AISITE" program which brings together company projects, developers, students and faculty to work on

to prototype specialty enhancements. We can also print circuitry on novel flexible materials, thin films, stretchable plastics and almost all other materials.

Vanessa has her own show to

demonstrate how to network labs with all kinds of partners for teaching, learning or presenting. This is becoming a novel way to augment "training" to serve

many different interest groups. In fact these experiments are changing our idea and integration of video/broadcasting into real-time education which currently has no name or category except

that it is new and engaging.

A.I. and Robotics are entering a whole new ERA of Development
This requires a new way of thinking about how to do everything. The X-LABS goal is to solve problems, quickly, thoroughly and securely. More corporate initiatives are following the crowdsourcing model to try and locate more versatile ideas for solving complex problems (NASA). Prompt Engineering picks this idea up and moves it the next mile. These are a few indicators of rampant change. These types of change require better methods of sharing, newer tools for working together, very fast multi-communication, better ways to validate/authenticate/secure and quicker ways to present and represent information.

X-Labs covers all the important topics in fine

or testing. These are just a few areas of focus.

X-Labs began as two meetups (2014) known as Houston Robotics and USAi Labs which did foundational work in autonomous machines/fabrication, A.I., sensors, computer vision, navigation, and control systems. As the two meetups grew (to approximately 3,000+ members) and joined to support Houston Community College student needs, it became clear the vibrant Houston MARKETPLACE needed a more broadly defined support organization to help enterprises understand building, implementing and testing intelligence based technologies in all industries.

We changed our name and our mission to - USAi Labs (a non-profit in 2020) so we could better serve the growing needs of schools Like HCC, communities, municipalities and industry. Our extraordinary knowledge-base centered around our membership is an invaluable tour de force for a widely expanding Houston. USAi Labs changed its name again in 2022 to our final name, X-Labs because we were being perceived as a government agency.
